We organize, participate in, and facilitate a number of events on an annual basis. We would love to have you be a part of the fun. 

 

Red Ribbon Week

Red Ribbon Week is an alcohol, tobacco, and other drug and violence prevention awareness campaign observed annually in October in the United States.

CADCA Leadership Training

CADCA Youth Leadership empowers over 1,200 youth yearly across the U.S. and abroad to fight drug use and other problems plaguing their communities. We inspire groups of passionate 13-18 year olds, who are eager to analyze and influence their communities in a positive way, and develop them how to create social change!

Operation School Supplies

OSS's mission is to provide school supplies and other needed resources to underprivileged children in Hood County.

Drug Take-Back

The National Prescription Drug Take Back Day aims to provide a safe, convenient, and responsible means of disposing of prescription drugs, while also educating the general public about the potential for abuse of medications.

School Programs at GISD

We bring educational presentation to Granbury ISD schools, like Sean Speaks, a talk about underage drinking risks.

Parent Cafe Meetings

The Parent Café program is a nationally recognized peer-to-peer learning process to keep children safe and families strong. Parents and caregivers create safe spaces to explore their strengths and learn from themselves and each other how to use the Strengthening Families Protective Factors™ with their loved ones.

Teen Court

Teen court is a problem-solving court within the juvenile justice system where teens charged with certain types of offenses can be sentenced by a jury of peers.

CADCA Conference

The premier and largest training conference for community-based substance abuse prevention professionals, coalition leaders, and prevention and addiction researchers.
